The Handsome Groom
Karl was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, and is the oldest of 3 children. After finishing high school, he attended college in Denver, Colorado, making some wonderful friends while at school, and exploring the mountains and rivers in his free time. Summers were typically spent in either Telluride, Colorado or back home. After living in Denver for a few years after graduating college, he got the travel bug, and began traveling around the country with his dog, Kuma. That journey eventually led him to Lake Tahoe, and what was supposed to be “one winter” turned into many, as they tend to do in ski towns. He is now happy to call San Francisco his home.
Karl’s Parents
Karl’s mother Jane is extremely excited for the wedding, as Karl is the favorite of her children. While she still lives full-time in St. Louis, she uses every excuse to come and visit her kids in California. Jane works as a nurse practitioner and in addition makes an annual trip to the country of Haiti to provide medical care to people in need.
Chris and Sue thought retirement would be easy, but instead stay very active as newly minted Grandparents! When they’re not doting on granddaughter Georgie, they are both avid golfers and enjoy a spirited competition out on the course, volunteering for non-profit organizations, and traveling around the country.
